Minimize the number of markers and lays
Save fabric and time by handling mixed lays in one order. CutPLANNER brings you clarity in making the right cutting decisions even before the fabric reaches the cutting room.
Reduce the usage of markers
CutPLANNER indicates the best way to cut mixed lays of different fabrics and models. This way you only need to use one marker for one order, reducing important paper costs in the long run.
Explore multiple cutting and spreading strategies
In a clear, easy-to-read Cut Plan Report, Cut Planner tells you all you need to decide which plan is best suited for your production objectives. Based on the fabric information in Apogy Swatchbook, it knows right away how many sheets a lay should have. Once you tell Cut PLANNER the number of pieces for each model, size, and fabric, it calculates automatically the best product grouping and distribution for the least number of cutting operations.
Stay on top of your costs
CutPLANNER tells you how much fabric will be used for each order and how much time is needed for the cutting operations. In only fa ew clicks you get complete cost control for the cutting operation: fabric, labor, and equipment.

After you finish an order you can print a central report that contains all information required for archiving and also for the cutting room. This report can be comprised in single or multiple A4 sheet, according to the order complexity (markers and lay number).
If you have installed Cut Planner on multiple workstations, we advise you to update and install the latest version of the software on all workstations. This is the only way we can guarantee full compatibility between applications and the lack of downtime in the product development process. The dongle is a hardware device (current electronic device) that gives the user the right to use the software (applications) in full license mode, based on paid licenses, and therefore we recommend that the dongle be used on a the only workstation.
When Gemini Cut Planner performs the automatic nesting, the rules and restrictions of each pattern are respected. These rules are defined for each pattern since the design phase, and refer to the rotation freedom and position on the grain axis, at the minimum distance between patterns, at matching the project on the stripes and plaids, to the alignment and matching with other patterns.
The installation kits for all of our latest versions can be found in the Installation Kits in my MyCAD account.
Users of Gemini applications receive full support throughout the warranty period. If the user is no longer in the warranty period, he must purchase a subscription that can be made from his MyCAD account.
Subscriptions can be purchased from my MyCAD account. To purchase the subscription, you need a card to pay online. We accept Visa and Mastercard and we use Recurly in order to provide the highest level of security for our customers’ credit card information. Recurly is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant. Here you can find all you want to know about our payment service security features: https://recurly.com/product/security-and-compliance/pci-compliance/
If you cancel your Update Subscription, you will revert to the latest allowed version you purchased before subscribing to the Software Update. You can check the latest allowed version for each license in your organization on the License page in MyCAD. You can find installation kits of your lifetime license in the Installation kits section of MyCAD. Please note that files created with the new version of the software are not readable by old versions, so we strongly advise you to save your models with Save as compatibility mode functionality. The functionality will allow you to save your files (models, orders) in a software version of your lifetime license and keep important data intact.
